2008 Women's Fair and
Charity Bachelor Bid
The Women's Fair features a Bachelor Bid
starting at 7pm in the UC Ballroom with
appetizers, drinks, silent auction items and
more. Join the fun and raise funds for the
Jadyn Fred Foundation. Tickets are $25 in
advance, $30 the day of the event and groups
of 10 for more for $20 each. UM Students and
Seniors over 65 receive a $2 discount. Tickets
are available at all GrizTix outlets and online at
www.GrizTix.com. You must be 21 and over to
attend. Your ticket to the Bachelor includes
admission to the Women's Fair.

2008 Women's Fair
Admission to the fair is $12 and $15 the
day of the event. UM Students and Seniors
over 65 receive a $2 discount. Admission
includes all speakers, entertainment,
lectures and demonstrations.

Exhibitors
Over 60 local organizations and businesses will provide enrichment products, services and programs for women and
their families. With local exhibitors selling and sampling products and services for women, the show offers a
convenient and fun way to shop for everything today's busy woman needs.
Workshops and Classes
4 individual lecture and demonstration rooms with experts sharing their knowledge are included with admission.
Topics and classes include African hip hop, belly dancing, yoga, organizing, self defense, fitness, plastic surgery,

Special Attractions
Massage on the Go - $1 a minute from local massage therapists. Proceeds benefit the Jadyn Fred Foundation.
Women Writer's Corner - Please join writers Leslie Stoll, Nancy Marra Judy Wright, Shaun Gant, Haley Newburg,
Janice Mineer and Mary Jo Patton for an interesting and stimulating day of readings, discussions and more.
Tarot Card Readings - $1 a minute from Missoula's Feng Shui Center & White Tiger Gifts. Proceeds benefit the Jadyn
Fred Foundation.
Fold a Crane & Make a Wish for Logan Smith - Take a break and join Kenshin Soga, a foreign exchange student
from Hiroshima, Japan, and learn to fold a paper crane.
Win a GIGANTIC floral arrangement - All you have to do to enter is fill out a feed back form and tell us how we did.
Entertainment
Music, dancing, fitness demonstrations and guests on the Main Stage. From 11am until 5pm, we will feature a wide
variety of entertainment including three incredible fashion shows, StreetSmarts Self-Defense, the UM Dance
Team, Lee Ryan, Headwaters Dance Company, Mismo Gymnastics, UM Women’s Chorus and more.
Featured Participants
Jadyn Fred Foundation - This local foundation was established in 2001 to help children and their families access the
care that could change their life. Jadyn Fred was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 3. Her condition,
Pancreatoblastoma, was only one of two clinically identified cases of its type on record.
YWCA Missoula - Strengthened by diversity, the YWCA draws together members who strive to create opportunities for
women’s growth, leadership, and power in order to attain a common vision: peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all
people.
WORD - Women's Opportunity & Resource Development, Inc. creates opportunities, programs and policies that
inspire and support women’s development, leadership and choice, for the benefit of the community.
Merck & Co. - Gardasil is a new vaccine being made by Merck & Co., Inc. and which has been approved by the FDA to
prevent cervical cancer in females between the ages of 9 and 26 years of age. Gardasil is a vaccine against the HPV
or Human Papillomavirus. The Gardasil vaccine protects recipients against 4 types of HPV, including the two types
that cause most cervical cancers.
